| Harry Wohlfarth titled a number of his works after Himalayan summits; in the 1980s he climbed several peaks around Mt. Everest. Ama Dablam is known as one of the most impressive mountains in the world, however it is stated that this is not because of its altitude. Some sources maintain that it is remarkable due to its “beauty, aesthetics, and the pure exposure encountered high on its flanks.” It is evident why Harry named this nude in tempera and watercolor after such a place.
